For Children: They support education and offer parenting support.
This is Dr. Manase sharing his mission with the Imperial Beach Community during his visit in 2023. In this moment, we felt compelled to do our part in helping Dr. Manase's efforts in protecting disadvantaged communities in Tanzania.
HEAL MOVEMENT FOUNDATION is sending a group of Integrative and Holistic Health Practitioners in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania in 2025 to share our work and aid Dr. Manase's fight in providing good quality palliative as well as integrative health care for the community.
HEAL MOVEMENT'S INVOLVEMENT
From now through October, our team will host a formal Zoom training series for frontline Tanzanian healthcare professionals.. Together we’ll explore a holistic curriculum grounded in polyvagal‑informed care, including
-
Neuromuscular Therapy
-
Clinical Reflexology
-
Trauma‑sensitive Yoga
-
Auricular Neuromodulation (NADA protocol)
Each session blends evidence‑based science with hands-on practice so participants can immediately incorporate these tools into their clinics.
Why your gift matters right now
Your generosity will make it possible for Heal Movement Collective to travel to Dar es Salaam in October to deliver a live Project Demonstration at the East African Health Congress—the region’s largest gathering on non‑communicable diseases (NCDs). Conference delegates will observe these modalities in action with local patients and receive open‑access treatment guides translated into Swahili.
The impact you’ll spark
-
Regulating the nervous system: Gentle stimulation of the vagus nerve through breathwork, manual therapy, and auricular points enhances parasympathetic tone, lowering heart rate variability risk factors tied to diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
-
Easing chronic symptoms: Improved vagal signaling supports glycemic control, blood‑pressure balance, and pain modulation—outcomes urgently needed in Tanzania, where NCDs now account for more than one‑third of adult mortality.
-
Strengthening families: When a patient’s nervous system can rest and heal, caregivers experience less stress, children see their parents reclaim vitality, and communities regain productive members.
Every dollar you invest is a vote for a healthcare model that honors the whole person—body, brain, and heart. If you feel moved to contribute, please visit our secure portal or reach out to me personally. We will be honored to acknowledge your support during the Congress and keep you updated with photos, outcome data, and heartfelt stories from the patients we serve.
Thank you for believing that healing can—and should—be accessible, culturally resonant, and rooted in compassion. Together we can help our Tanzanian colleagues turn cutting‑edge neuroscience into everyday relief for families living with NCDs.
If you'd like to get involved in our effort to bring Holistic Health to Tanzania, please consider making a donation.
This is your call for action to be the change you wish to see in the world!
